At the Annual General Meeting of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) for the year 2026–2027, old Thurstanite Mr. Sirosha Gunatilake of Trendex Holdings was unanimously elected as the 44th overall and 30th Sri Lankan President of the Mercantile Cricket Association (established in 1911), taking over the baton of leadership.
The 108th Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday, 27th February 2026 at the MCA Legends New Wing at 6.00 p.m.
Two new members were elected to the Executive Committee:
