The case filed against former UNP parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra for alleged involvement in the abduction of a youth using a Defender, was fixed for trial on May 23, by the Colombo High Court.
The case was today taken up before the Colombo High Court Judge Amal Ranaraja and summon was issued to the first prosecution witness in the case to appear before the court on next hearing.
