RUZAIK FAROOK
The Talent Hub Academy had organized 5th year exhibition and 14th year celebration was held at the Hotel Ramada, Colombo recently. It was held under the patronage of Talent Hub Academy Directress Mrs. Fazliya Rameez.
Minister of Justice (President Counsel) Ali Sabry was present as chief guest. Ms. Sasanika Jayalath, Khiriya Girls College Principal Ms. Nazeera Hassanar and other guests were grace the event.
Talent Hub Academy is a registered institute Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and City and Guilds. They aim is to bring out the talents of young girls and women by conducting vocational training programmes, such as Cookery, Bakery, Cake Decoration, Mehendi, Dress Making, etc. It is a common thing to observe that women are unable to complete their studies or do not get proper jobs or lack in skills, which lead to their deteriorating financial condition, they are dependent on others or they are unable to support their families.
