SECOND STOCK OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER MANUFACTURED BY SLAF HANDED OVER TO CEYLON FERTILIZER COMPANY LIMITED ‘LAK POHORA’


The Organic Fertilizer Project at Sri Lanka Air Force Regiment Training School Vanni, handed over its second stock of 15 Metric Tons organic fertilizer to the Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited (Lak Pohora) on 22 February 2022 in view of strengthening the government’s organic fertilizer production drive on the directives of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana.
The entire production process of organic fertilizer project at Sri Lanka Air Force Regiment Training School Vanni, is supervised by the Command Agro Officer SLAF Base Katunayake, Group Captain Rajiv Kodippili to ensure the production in order to meet the required quality standards prescribed by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Commanding Officer SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni, Group Captain Nishantha Priyadarshana handed over the stock of Organic Fertilizer to Marketing Executive of Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited at Vavuniya District for the distribution of same among the farmer community.
The event was attended by Command Agro Officer, Group Captain RP Kodippili, Manager Husbandry Project, Group Captain PE Gunawardena, Marketing Executive of Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited at Vavuniya District, Mr. WWCUK Wijekoon, officers and other ranks of SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni.
