Two books were written and graphic designed by a Grade 5 student of Susamayawardena Vidyalaya Colombo Padartha Jayasinghe who launched “ Handa Ammai Tharu Babalai “ and “ Kaputa saha Kejukela “. The launching ceremony was held at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort Auditorium, Colombo recently.
The first book was presented to Chief Advisor of Ahasa Media Group and Tower Hall Foundation Member of the Board of Directors Hassim Omar
In connection with this event, a special screening of the children’s stage play “ Heensaraya “ produced and directed by the Janapriya Jayasinghe was also staged.
Chamila Publication Proprietor Chamila Rasaderi Pieris, Nuguwela Transport Proprietor Charith Nuguwela, Colombo Times Chief Editor Mohammad Rasooldeen,
Janapriya Jayasinghe, Ahasa Media CEO Mrs. Priyanga Bandaranaike and Mrs. Hassim Omar were also present.
