Mr. FriesQ celebrated its 1st year Anniversary Celebration at the Arcade Independence Square recently. In lieu of commemorating this day, they organized a carnival named “ Mr. FriesQ Carnival ” which turned out to be a massive success with over 1500 guests participating in the event. The event comprised with bouncing castle for kids , face painting , games stalls, surprise mascot, musical chair, mehendi , DJ and much more which entertained the arrived guests.
Mr. FriesQ has evolved as one of the recent Street Food Sensation in Colombo. The Food Truck being established in 2021 provides Handmade Fries in different flavors with their tempting homemade mayo and sauce which is a definite to go places for the Fries lovers. Qahwa Coffee which is an Arabic Origin beverage has also been introduced by them for the first time into the streets of Colombo. Their current menu consists of 12 varieties of Fries and their hot beverage known as the Qahwa Coffee is also been catered matching the taste of the people in Sri Lanka.
Started together by 5 classmates namely Afzar, Faran, Ziyan, Faraj and Imran who are working under different corporate and business segments established this as a part time business , after many challenges in the country like corona and economic crisis, Mr. Friesq has now become a Brand known by many street food lovers. Their objective is to provide, maximum number of Fries varieties for a reasonable price in the market. Affordability and consistency is the key principle that they follow to sustain in the market. Some of their current future plans are to open branches in the surroundings of Colombo and to make the product widely available for their customers.
