The Batch of 2000 Zahira College Colombo (Old Boys) had organized fourth consecutive year Battle of the Millennium “ Batch එකේ Match එක 2022 “ 11 a side 5 overs soft ball Cricket Tournament was held at the Shalika Grounds, Colombo 05 on Sunday January 22.
There are 8 teams Angora Lions, Baghdad Bulls, Cordova Kings, Istanbul Warriors, Cairo Challengers, Dhaka Riders,. Delhi Royals and Kabul Lions took part the tournament.
Dhaka Riders beat Cordova Kings in the final and Captain of the champion team Hussain Wasiq received the champion trophy from chief guest former Vice Captain 1st XI Cricket Team of the Zahira College Colombo Shiham Zuhair,
Also Best Batsman Dhaka Riders Irfan Saleem, Best Bowler Delhi Royals Malik Manan and Man of the Final Dhaka Riders Farzan Ramalan received the trophies.
President of the Batch of 2000 Shafraz Salley, Past Presidents of the Batch of 2000 Riyaz Cassim, Jawfer-us Sadiq , Mohamed Rilwan, General Secretary Hazmil Hamdoon and members were present.
