The 78th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held at the Lotus Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel Colombo on Tuesday August 29th
Chief Guest Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera along with Ambassador of the Vietnam Ho Thi Thanh Truc cut the anniversary cake.
Minister of Mass Media Bandula Gunawardana, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa, Members of Parliament, Ambassadors, Media Personnel and Embassy Officials were also present.
