Telecom ITEA skills for vocational institute students by EXEO GLOBAL and SALA ENTERPRISES

Students now looking for employment overseas can take advantage of learning ITEA Telecommunications skills seminars held by Exco Global and Sala Enterprises. This will give them a clear advantage in joining the Japanese telecommunications construction industry.

EXEO Global Pte Ltd. partnership with SALA Enterprises will work together with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka to conduct a series of seminars on opportunities available in Japan. Specifically highlighting the telecommunications construction industry in Japan and how young adults can secure the necessary qualifications to apply for a Specified Skilled Worker (“SSW”) visa to work in Japan.

 Speaking to the media EXEO Global (Pte) Ltd.  Vice President Technical Services Kawanabe Yukata said, they represent a Japanese company that has come here to conduct seminars with a view of offer vacancies in the Telecom Industry in Japan. As they have and aging issue, the government of Japan has decided to recruit people from Asia to work in Japan. That way they will be contributing to the economy of Japan and will also be given employment at the same level as a Japanese citizen. Following this path, they will directly benefit the workers to have both secure employment and welfare benefits during their term of employment. Also speaking to the media, Sala Enterprises Managing Director Chinthaka Wijewicrema said, a key market for skilled labor that has been identified is Sri Lanka, and the Japaneseassociation is looking forward to hiring quality candidates from Sri Lanka that are keen on pursuing careers in Japan. The primary purpose of seminars is to share more about the Specified Skilled Worker visa for the telecommunications construction industry, the skills and certifications needed to qualify for the visa, aswell as the legitimate approach to applying for the visa, so potential applicants can clarify their doubts and also find out more from the trainers on what is like to work in Japan and what to expect before they make a decision.

The Information & Telecommunications Engineering Association of Japan (ITEA) and JAC (Japan Association of Construction Human Resources), EXEO Global, their appointed partner, are conducting a series of seminars across 10 countries in Asia from 2024 to 2025. Therefore, this will provide accurate information to those who are interested in pursuing a career in the telecommunications construction industry in Japan.

With Sri Lanka being identified as a preferred market, the Japanese associations are looking positively towards securing high-quality candidates from Sri Lanka who are keen to pursue careers in this line of work.
