Officers attached to Narcotics Control unit of Sri lanka Customs arrested an Indian Couple with 2.4 kg of kush cannabis arrived from bangkok Thailand.Suspected couple arrived by the flight UL 403 operated by Sri Lankan airline around 11.00 am Today.
The suspected passengers with a age of 30 years. The narcotics substances were concealed in their checked luagage.
Customs officers estimated the value of this stock of kush is to be around Rs. 25 million.
Officers at Narcotics Control Unit of Sri Lanka Customs conducting the investigation and the suspected passengers along with Narcotics found will be handed over to police narcotics bureau for further investigation .
