The Iran Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo had organized Seminar on titles “Unity in the thought of Imam Khomeini “ to mark the Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s 33rd death anniversary at the Iran Cultural Centre Auditorium, Colombo 7 on 4th June.
It was held under the patronage of Cultural Counsellor of Iran Cultural Centre Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi.
Religious Leaders Ven. Dr. Madampagama Assaji Thissa Nayaka Thera, Retired Bishop of Methodist Church Rev. Asiri Perera, Dr. Subramaniya Kurukkal, Renowned Author and Veteran Translator Dr. Ash Sheik S.L. Madani praised the Imam Khomeini’s contribution to Iran and his great efforts and meritorious services that led to the historic Islamic revolution.
Former Professor in Religious Studies Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka Prof. Samantha Ilangkoon, and Advisor Global Law Thinkers Society Dr. Junius Silva also addressed the gathering.
