According to information received by STF personnel at Settikulam, Sub Inspector PGRN Gunawardena and a team of officers conducted a raid on (12) at the Mudaliyarkulam address area, School Road, Settikulam Police Division.
Mudaliarkulam who had entered the government reserve without a license and was preparing for the transportation of cut satin logs and shredded satin wood.
A 52 year old resident of the area has been arrested and handed over to the Settikulam Beat Forest Office for further investigations.
