RUZAIK FAROOK
The High Commission of Pakistan and the Pakistani community in Sri Lanka celebrated the 75th Independence Day Celebration on (14th August). High Commissioner Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Major General (Retd) Umar Farooq Burki hoisted the national flag of Pakistan in colorful ceremony at the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo. Also High Commissioner cut the anniversary cake at this ceremony. The event was well-attended by a large numbers of participants including members of the Pakistani community, officials and families of the High Commission, local dignitaries, journalists and friends of Pakistan.
