Zahira College Advanced Level Sinhala Medium Student Abdul Umar Sahan Nethmina’s second poetry book ” ඒ තමයි ජීවිතය “ “ A Thamai Jeewitheya ” launching ceremony was held at the College Gaffoor Hall on Saturday November 5. It was held under the patronage of the Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar.
Sehan Nethmina’s first book was launched in year 2019 titled “ Thatu Sidunu Kurulla ”
Journalist Thimbiriyagama Bandara, Lahiru Kithalagama and Gampaha Rathnaveli Balika Vidyalaya Student Pawani Wasana addressed the gathering and Students sang songs at this ceremony.
Also distributed certificates from Zahira College Writers Forum to the Students Book Publications from year 2019 to 2021 in different subjects Novel, Short Stories and Poetry Sinhala, Tamil and English Languages.
Zahira College Vice Principal Co-curricular Activities Zeenath Ismail, Head of Primary Mohamed Shazuly, Secretary, Board of Governors Alavi Mukthar, Librarian Anoja Renuka Serasinghe, Godage Publications Project Coordinator Anurasiri Hettige, Sehan Nethmina’s Parents, Teachers and Students graced the event.
