07 Sri Lankan actors have won the best actor award for the film Maria at the Hanoi International Film Awards in Vietnam.
Accordingly, Hemal Ranasinghe, Mahendra Perera, Ashan Dias, Darshan Dharmaraj, Dasun Pathirana, Priyantha Sirikumara and Suran Dissanayake have received this award.
It is said that 123 films representing 50 countries were submitted for the Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam this year.
It is reported that this award has been won at the Hanoi International Film Awards held in Vietnam for the sixth time.
Earlier, the film ‘Maria’ was also qualified for the Moscow Film Awards.
