COLOMBO The Old Girls Association of the Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo had organized Sinhala and Hindu New Year celebrations at the school playground on Sunday April 23. Many games such as sack race, kana muttiya bindeema, tug a war, best laugh, best crying person, Avurudu Kumari etc. Presadi Abewardena became a first place of the Awrudu Kumari contest and Waruni Uthpala and Pedmi Edirisinghe were also became a second and third place of this event this year.

Kumuduni, Old Girls Association Co Presidents Shiromi Wijerathne and Manjula De Silva, Secretary Sujeeka Wickremesinghe, Treasurer Ranoja De Silva, Advisors Ruchira Yapa Abeywardene and Ramya Perera, Event Coordinators Dilani Senarathne and Anoja De Silva, Members of the Event Committee Dilani Padmasinghe, Enoka Gallage, Geethika Priyadarshani and Udari Wasana, Assistant Secretary Nadee Kumarage, Assistant Treasurer Kanchana Dilrukshi and members were also present.
