Ananda Balika Vidyalaya Maradana Prefects Investiture Ceremony was held at the Mahabodhi Hall, Colombo recently. It was held under the patronage of Principal W.B.G. Kumuduni.
Chief Guest Deputy Inspector General of Police and distinguished old girl Nishani Senevirathne pinned the badge to the new head prefect Dishmini Tharushika Ilukgoda at this ceremony.
Principal W.B.G. Kumuduni presented memento to the chief guest DIG Nishani Senevirathne.
Vice Principal Udayani Pathiranage, Prefects Guild teacher in charge Harshani Mendis, Head of Sports T. I. Yashika Randini Thalgasduwa, Deputy Head of Sports P. H. Sonashi Nethmini, K. P. Dinithi Dulmini Devyana , Deputy Head Prefects Hettiarachchige Amandi Nayanathara and Thisari Kawindra Hettiarachchi including the Parents, Teachers, Students and members of the Executive Committee of the Old Girls Association were graced the event.
Ceremony was held under the guidelines of health authorities.
