RUZAIK FAROOK
The Annual Sports Meet of Amal International School was held at the Havelock Club Grounds Colombo recently.
The overall championship was won by Aqsa House with 307 points, Arafath House with 301. 7 points came second, Azeez House 258.7 points third and Arqam House 200.7 points fourth. Arqam House won award for Best March Past.
Captain of the Champion House Ishraf Ahamed received overall championship award from the chief guest former Sri Lankan Cricketer and a Captain Aravinda De Silva.
Also won championship for Basketball (Aqsa House), Soccer (Arafath House) and (Arqam House) Joint Champs and Cricket ( Azeez House ) received awards from chief guest.
Chairman of the Board of Directors M.A.M. Hakeem presented memento to the chief guest Aravinda De Silva at this ceremony.
Vice Principals A.W. M. Rimsi (Administration),Mrs. Minsharf Imthiyaz (Academics), Mrs. Muna Suby ( Extra / Co-Curricular) , CIS President M.H.M. illyas, Members of the Board of Directors, Teachers, Parents, Students and Old Boys were present.
