A female suspect in possession of 51 grams and 350 milligrams of heroin worth over Rs.500,000 was arrested by the Police officers of Colombo North Crime Division at the Kadiranawatte area in the Mattakkuliya Police Division on Wednesday (23).
The arrested suspect has been handed over to the Mattakkuliya Police Station for further investigations.
She has been identified as a 28-year-old female resident of Mattakkuliya. The suspect was to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court yesterday (24). Mattakkuliya Police are conducting further investigations.
