Marking a new path in Sri Lanka’s agricultural sector, Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary Hayleys Nature Nest (Pvt) Ltd, recently inaugurated the country’s first Frozen Concentrated Coconut Water manufacturing plant.
Established with the vision of creating products that add high value to Sri Lanka’s abundant agricultural harvest, this state-of-the-art facility converts locally sourced coconut water into a high-quality frozen concentrate suitable for the international market. Through this, this project is able to add new value to Sri Lanka’s agricultural and export sectors.
In addition to further expanding the company’s global market footprint, this investment will also empower local coconut growers and rural communities. The project will also help increase the country’s export earnings by promoting the export of value-added agricultural products and actively contribute to the long-term growth of Sri Lanka’s agricultural sector.
