Fairfirst Insurance Limited has come forward to sponsor the 2026 MCA ‘F’ T20 League Cricket Tournament, organised by the Sri Lanka Commercial Services Cricket Association, for the eighth consecutive time. The winners of the tournament will be awarded the ‘Fairfirst Insurance Trophy’.
Twenty-four [24] teams have entered the MCA ‘F’ T20 League Cricket Tournament this year, competing in four [4] divisions.
Group ‘A’ [Group 6]: Softlogic Life Insurance, Pan Asia Bank [PABC], Metropolitan Group [Metropolitan Group], Aitken Spence, Astron Limited, McLaren Group [Mclaren Group]
Group ‘B’ [Group 6]: Emerchemie NB, Power Hand Plantation “B” [Ceylon Tobacco], Ranpath Group [Ranpath Group], Ansell Textiles [Ansell Textiles], SAGT [SAGT]
Group ‘C’ [Group 6]: Commercial Bank ‘B’ [Commercial Bank ‘B’], Camera LK [Camera LK], Siam City Cement [Siam City Cement] Cement, Ansell Lanka, Empire Tea, MAS Active Biyagama Limited
Category ‘D’ [Group 6]: Commercial Credit, Attire Group, HNB Assurance, Gamma Pizza Craft, E B Creasy, Sitrex Group
The tournament consists of two stages, the first stage is the ‘League’ stage consisting of sixty [60] Twenty20 [T20] matches which started on the fifteenth [15] of January and ended on the fifteenth [15] of February. The second stage is the knockout stage consisting of fifteen [15] matches including the final match.

The semi-finals [pre-final] will be held on March 7 [07], and the final [final] is scheduled to be held at the end of March, which is likely to be (24), (25) or (26), according to the organizer
The Player Control Team [PCT]
A match observer appointed by the Commercial Services Cricket Association, cricket umpires appointed by the Association of Cricket Umpires of Sri Lanka [ACUSL] and scorers appointed by the Sri Lanka Cricket Scorers Association to keep score and manage the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern system [DLS] will also be deployed for each match.
Official Match Ball
For every match up to the grand final, the GOC League White Ball, imported from Pakistan by the Sri Lanka Cricket Association and bearing the official logo of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association, will be used. These balls will be provided to the teams at the cost of import.

HNB ‘B’ defeated Dialog Axiata by thirty-four [34] runs in the final match of the MCA ‘F’ 25-over League Cricket Tournament held at the Merchant Services Cricket Association Grounds on 3rd May 2025.
The official sponsorship ceremony and press conference for the Sri Lanka Cricket Association was held on February 27, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Legends Wing of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association, where the official sponsorship was handed over to Sirosha Gunathilaka, President of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association, by Ravishankar Vigneswaran, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfirst Insurance Company.
The event was attended by Clement Fernandopulle, Head of Digital, Marketing & Customer Experience at Fairfirst Insurance Company, and Achintha Hewanayake, General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Commercial Cricket Association, representing the association.
